Session 1: Intent in RE
Why are we teaching RE? Why is RE important in your school? Do pupils and teachers understand what good RE looks like?
What is my role as subject leader?
Session 2: Implementing RE
What is it that OFSTED are looking for? How can we put together a curriculum for progression? How can we plan well using the North Yorkshire Agreed Syllabus?
What resources can we use to support pupils to encounter religious and non-religious worldviews
Session 3: Subject Knowledge
How can you support teachers with their subject knowledge?
What information do you need in order to teach about different religions. This session will improve teachers and subject leaders own subject knowledge as well as providing inspirational, knowledgeable and creative teaching resources and strategies.

This course will be led by Fiona Moss National RE Adviser/ NATRE Chief Executive Officer.

North Star members: £100 per delegate. Non-members £150 per delegate.
Terms & Conditions
If your school attends an event which is not included in your package your school will be charged a “pay-as-you-go” rate of £75 per half day.
Unused CPD days are non-transferable and will NOT be refunded.
Please note that in the event of a cancellation the following terms will be applied:
Cancellations within two weeks of the first event: 50% charge; cancellations within 48 hrs of the event/no show: 100% charge. If delegates do not attend all three days, your school will still be charged the full amount.
With-in a month of the first day of the event, or with-in a month of the event, which ever applies.
